Quick tournament
A one-off game with no group to set up. Paste or type your players, or paste the email with the flights. Pick your rules, like team scoring and nearest the pin, and tap Start. At the end, type in each player's points and BSVGolf ranks everyone and shows the winners. Only the organiser needs the app.
Season tournament
Set up your group once by pasting the members from your group email. Each week, tick who's playing and give each player a tee time and starting hole, then send everyone their own email with their tee time and a link to the round. Every week's results feed a season table, with rules like "best 6 of 13 count". You can bring in your old season sheet too.
Golf trip
Paste the trip's email list once and it becomes the trip's group. Add the days and the course for each. When each day's draw arrives, paste it in and the groups and tee times are set for you. Each day has its own results, and a running leaderboard adds up every day's points, with a winner each day.
Multi-course day
Everyone plays on the same day, wherever they are. Add each course with its rating and slope, and put each player on theirs. BSVGolf gives every player the right number of strokes for their own course, so one leaderboard compares everyone fairly.
Questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. BSVGolf opens in your web browser on your phone, tablet or computer.
Do my players need the app?
No. If you enter totals at the end, only the organiser needs BSVGolf. If you score hole by hole, players enter their scores on their phones from the link in their email.
Does it work out Stableford, handicaps and teams?
Yes. BSVGolf ranks every player, works out team scores, and gives each player the right strokes for their course from its rating and slope.
I made a mistake. Can I fix it?
Yes. Open the game to change players, groups or rules, or delete it and start again.
